Wind Energy – Upgrading
In response to the growing market demand and increased interest in Bluestream’s ICCP-SAM tool, Bluestream has made important upgrades to improve its performance and reliability.
These updates coincide with Bluestream securing two new contracts for the installation of ICCP systems on offshore wind farm monopiles.
The latest ICCP-SAM upgrades focus on optimizing both the installation process and the performance of the anode system.
Improvements include:
• Redesigned Clamping Mechanism: Instead of using a pressure plate with bolted connection onto the monopile foundation, the system now features four bolts that securely clamp the anode by interlocking two plates. This new design eliminates the need for bolting directly onto the foundation and ensures greater flexibility and durability, allowing the bolts to stretch and withstand higher pressures.
• Compact System for Greater Coverage: The upgraded ICCP-SAM is now even more compact, allowing for longer anodes that can cover a larger surface area of the monopile, improving the efficiency of cathodic protection over a broader region.
While Bluestream was already capable of meeting project demands, these upgrades have further enhanced our ability to address future challenges with even greater efficiency.
The ICCP-SAM pared with it’s upgrades reflect our commitment to innovation in offshore wind energy, providing sustainable and scalable solutions for ICCP installation and monopile protection.
