Wind Energy – CTV
OEG Renewables latest addition to its multi-purpose Crew Transfer Vessel fleet to enter service with a 5-year charter supporting offshore wind farms in Germany
OEG Renewables announced the completion of construction and sea trials for Furioso, its newest multi-purpose Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) to enter its global fleet and the award of its first charter.
This state-of-the-art vessel will embark on a 5-year charter, supporting operations and maintenance (O&M) activities on offshore wind farms in Germany.
Furioso, which was designed and built in the UK, is the first Brevity Class CTV to enter the market. It was designed by reputed naval architects Chartwell Marine and built and commissioned by OEG Renewables.
Tailored to the specific needs of the offshore wind industry, the Brevity class is a high-performance CTV that delivers cost-effective, low-emission support. Its optimised hull form ensures exceptional manoeuvrability and stability, while its spacious interior can accommodate up to 32 personnel in flexible configurations for enhanced comfort during extended offshore stays.
