New project for G-TEC in the Netherlands

Friday, August 2 2024

Wind Energy – Survey Doordewind OWF

G-TEC has been awarded a contract by RVO (Netherlands Enterprise Agency) to perform a seabed survey for the Doordewind Offshore Wind Farm project in the North Sea.

The survey of Lot 1 will cover an area of about 310 km2 and will include geophysical seabed investigations. The objective is to provide RVO with high-quality data on the seabed and sub-seabed conditions.

RVO will share these data with wind farm developers to de-risk the wind farm development in a very early phase.

The survey operations started in early July and will last into the summer months. G-TEC is using survey vessel Mainport Geo.
