Wind Energy – Dogger Bank
Fugro has embarked on a significant geotechnical survey project for the proposed Dogger Bank South (DBS) West offshore wind farm.
The Fugro Quest vessel departed from Falmouth earlier this week, initiating data collection efforts crucial for the site design and development of the wind farm, which aims to support up to 100 turbines.
This survey is part of a larger project involving two proposed DBS offshore wind farms, where Fugro will gather essential Geo-data over the coming months. The collected data will assist RWE and Masdar in advancing their site development plans, and contributing to global efforts in the energy transition and sustainability.
