Haizea Wind Group announced that the first monopile of its new Bilbao facilities was completed last week!
Once the coating is completed, this foundation will be ready to be shipped to ScottishPower Renewables’ East Anglia THREE OWF.
The wind farm will be Iberdrola’s largest offshore wind farm – and the second biggest in the world – when it comes into operation in 2026.
With a capacity of 1,400 MW, it will produce enough green electricity to power the equivalent of more than 1.3 million British households!
