General – CSOV
Damen recently signed an agreement for the order of a Commissioning Service Operations Vessel (CSOV) with Ta San Shang Marine Co.
The vessel is the second Damen CSOV currently on order from TSSM. The vessels will support the construction and maintenance of offshore wind farms in Taiwanese waters, together with TSS Pioneer, an already operational vessel.
In a boost for sustainability, the new CSOVs will feature a diesel-battery hybrid power generation system and be fully prepared for methanol propulsion in the future.
