LS Cable & System has secured its first submarine cable supply contract in the western United States.
The company signed a contract with LS Power Grid California, a transmission network operator in the U.S.
Through this agreement, LS C&S is expected to further solidify its position in the U.S. market.
The cables will be installed in Northern California’s Sacramento River and will be used to transmit electricity from the Northwest regions, such as Oregon, to California.
