Wind Energy – Jacket Installation

Last week the installation of the offshore substation jacket of the Îles d’Yeu et Noirmoutier project was successfully installed.

The Pioneering Spirit of Allseas installed the jacket on behalf of DEME Offshore.

The jacket, manufactured by Navantia Seanergies, in Spain, was transported to the Port Atlantique La Rochelle at the beginning of June, from where DEME Group has proceeded to its successful installation offshore.

The wind farm is being developed by Éoliennes en Mer des Îles d’Yeu et de Noirmoutier (EMYN), a consortium including Ocean Winds (an ENGIE and EDPR joint venture), Sumitomo Corporation, La Banque des Territoires and Vendée Energie.
