Wind Energy – Export Cable
NKT is preparing for the installation of the export power cable for the BorWin5 offshore grid connection.
The 320 kV HVDC power cables are being loaded onto the NKT Victoria in Karlskrona and will soon be on their way to the installation site off Norderney in the German North Sea.
BorWin5 is one of TenneT’s offshore grid connection projects that play a central role in Germany’s transition to renewable energy.
