Wind Energy – Transition Pieces
Lamprell announced the successful completion of the final delivery of transition pieces (TPs) for the OW Ocean Winds Moray West offshore wind farm project.
All 62 TPs, including the penultimate and final batch destined for Scotland, have now been safely delivered and handed over to our client.
The team completed the project on schedule and within budget, without any lost time incidents.
This landmark project, which started in 2022 following the project award, involved the construction of 60 wind turbine generator TPs and two offshore substation TPs.
