General – AOPS

Subsea 7 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with C-Power to test the next generation of their autonomous offshore power system (AOPS) design in collaboration with Subsea Integration Alliance.

This joint industry project, co-sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, is aimed at exploring the use of converted energy from ocean waves as a lower-cost, lower-carbon power source for subsea energy applications.
