Wind Energy – Gode Wind 3
Mads Nipper, Group CEO at Ørsted, announced today on social media the celebration of the first power from our Gode Wind 3 project in Germany, which is scheduled to be completed later this year.
This milestone was reached together with our co-owner Nuveen Infrastructure, and with our partners Cadeler and Siemens Gamesa
Gode Wind 3 will be followed by the 913 MW Borkum Riffgrund 3, which will then be followed by more than 1.6 gigawatts in the US, close to 1 gigawatt in APAC, and not least by our 2.9 gigawatt Hornsea 3 project in the UK.
In total, during the coming three years, Ørsted will install close to as much offshore wind as the company has done in the past 30 years.
All of which will be achieved with a firm focus on strong execution and value creation.
