Wind Energy – Taiwan
Taiwan’s offshore wind Phase 3-2 zonal development bidding process has commenced today.
Despite encountering challenges, such as developers seeking deadline extensions and other uncertainties, it is proceeding according to the original plan. The bidding submission deadline is set for today at 5:00 PM.
Six developers, CORIO, Enervest, CIP, SRE, Shinfox, and Orsted, have all submitted their bidding documents, competing for the allocation of a 3.6 GW wind farm capacity.
The final selection results for the 3.2 bidding phase are expected to be announced by the end of May or early June.
Iberdrola’s and Taiya Renewable Energy announced already on Apr.9 that both companies will not participate in the 3-2 selection.
