Wind Energy – Anodes Installation

Corrosion from Moerkapelle in the Netherlands today announced that the ICCP-SAM, has just been approved by the DNV for a large offshore wind project in the Baltic States.

Together with partner and co-creator Bluestream Offshore, based in Den Helder, Corrosion developed the ICCP-SAM, to remotely install ICCP anodes on XX(X)L monopile foundations against corrosion worldwide.

DNV is one of the leading classification societies in the world and a recognized advisor for, among others, the offshore industry.

Contractor Bladt Industries has chosen the ICCP-SAM for this offshore wind project and therefore a risk-averse and cost-saving construction. No secondary steel needs to be used and no cables need to run along the outside of the foundation.

Once again, great confirmation that the ICCP-SAM is here to stay and has the potential to become the go-to solution for remotely installing sustainable ICCP anodes on monopile foundations of all sizes, anywhere on the foundation and even in the roughest ocean conditions.
