Wind Energy – South Fork
Installation of the twelfth and final wind turbine at South Fork Wind, New York’s first offshore wind farm, has been completed.
A few days ago, South Fork Wind, a joint venture between Ørsted and Eversource Energy, announced via social media that the last wind turbine had set sail for the project site from the State Pier Terminal in New London, Connecticut.
According to social media posts by Ørsted’s team on February 21, the last wind turbine was installed on February 20.
