General – Appointment
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has appointed ScottishPower CEO Keith Anderson to the UK Government’s Business Council.
The Council is made up of eminent UK business leaders and aims to support the delivery of the Government’s economic growth priorities and make the UK the best place to do business.
Working in partnership with the Government, its members account for over 200,000 employees from across the country and are intrinsic to the UK’s success.
Alongside ScottishPower, the Business Council includes the CEOs of Rolls Royce, BT, Nationwide, Unilever and ITV among others.
As one of the UK’s leading energy firms, investing £12bn in critical clean energy infrastructure, ScottishPower is playing a leading role in powering growth, creating jobs and boosting the UK supply chain.
