Fossil Energy – Trenching

The Q1000 jet trencher of Pharos Offshore recently completed a trenching campaign in the Cassiopea field, burying over 115km of rigid pipeline, umbilicals, and flexible flowlines.

The Q1000 was operating in depths from 8msw to 670msw, with a target trench depth of up to 2m.

Managing Director of Pharos, Russell Edmondson comments: “The Q1000’s outstanding performance on this project is a testament to our incredibly talented maintenance and operation teams. Their efforts keeping the system performing at its best was pivotal on this project, ensuring a smooth and efficient deployment.”

The Q1000 has now set sail on its way to Singapore, to service our clients’ requirements in the Far East, with the same levels of delivery excellence.
