Wind Energy – Taiwan

RoC Consult will be executing RoC drills on the Yunlin offshore wind project together with Skyborn Renewables.

The Yunlin wind project is developed by Yunneng Wind Power, a subsidiary of Skyborn Renewables.

The project is located in the Taiwan Strait, between 8 and 17 kilometers off the west coast of Taiwan at a water depth from 7 up to 35 meters.

The project will comprise 80 wind turbine generators with a total capacity of 640 MW rated power.

The Blue Wind is a main installation jack-up vessel. It will be part of the Yunlin OWF 2024 campaign. The vessel will take part in the operation for March 1 – June 15 for installing the monopiles. The vessel will then take part in stalling the last WTGs for the 2024 campaign.
