Noble Corporation and Petronas Suriname E&P have cemented a strategic agreement to exchange drilling rigs for an impending project offshore Suriname.

The agreement will see the Noble Voyager, a 7th generation drillship, assume the charge to drill one well in Block 52. This role was initially designated for the Noble Discoverer under the prevailing contract option.

The changeover is scheduled to kick off in February 2024 and is projected to span approximately 120 days.

The Noble Voyager is set to command a clean dayrate of $470,000. In a move that enhances the scope of their collaboration, Noble and Petronas have concurred to incorporate an additional one-well option into their contract.
