It is now official that Denmark will have a third bidding zone in the future.
In connection with the establishment of the Bornholm Energy Island a third bidding zone will be established to ensure efficient capacity allocation in relation to the hybrid project.
This is quite a milestone for the project and ensures that a significant part of the market design is in place prior to launch of the windfarm tender in 2024.
