General – NSEC
Last week the North Seas Energy Cooperation (NSEC) launched an Action Agenda, to deliver upon their agreed offshore ambitions!
The NSEC members (Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the European Commission, and guest country UK) presented an agenda focused on three themes:
1. Developing an integrated Energy System 2050
2. Sustainable Supply Chain and Financing offshore renewables in Europe
3. North Sea Transition: Energy & Nature
NSEC is pleased to see that the work within the NSE program on system integration on the North Sea is in line with this NSEC agenda. Over 35 public and private organizations work together in NSE, with a participatory approach and a strong focus on nature and society.
