Wind Energy – New Order Damen
Ta San Shang Marine Co., has placed an order for a Damen Construction Service Operations Vessel (CSOV) 9020.
The vessel, which will be the second SOV in the company’s fleet, will play an important role, supporting construction and maintenance of wind farms off the coast of Taiwan.
The CSOV will offer high quality accommodation for up to 120 personnel, who will access turbines quickly and safely via a motion compensated walkway.
The vessel will feature diesel-battery hybrid power generation and will be delivered fully prepared for future of use of green methanol fuel.
