ERM forms strategic partnership with Renewable Sweden

ERM, the world’s largest pure play consultancy, has announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Renewable Sweden to offer joint best in class offshore wind services to support Sweden’s energy transition.

Renewable Sweden specializes in delivering complex renewable energy projects in the Nordics, covering onshore and offshore wind energy, solar and hydrogen. Its services include market analysis, permitting, stakeholder management and lobbying.

Combined with ERM’s extensive end-to-end expertise in renewable energy services, the partnership is designed to help Sweden accelerate its energy transition in line with its goal of reaching net-zero emissions by 2045.

Sweden is targeting 100% renewable electricity generation by 2040, and according to ERM’s Global Renewable Infrastructure Projects database it is estimated that its renewables capacity will double to 30.4 GW by 2030.
