General – IRO
Sander Vergroesen, director of IRO, the Association of Dutch Suppliers in the Offshore Energy Industry, announced on Thursday 19 October that he will be leaving IRO.
After a period of 12.5 years, he will retire early on 1 February 2024 at the age of 66.
Vergroesen: “I have had a fantastic time at IRO. I am still fit and now that we are in the process of defining a new strategy, I think it would be good if a new person with fresh eyes is involved in the preparation as early as possible and can give direction to the implementation of that strategy.”
More information on this new strategy, to better position IRO and its members, will follow at a later date.
