Martijn Hagens has been appointed new Senior Vice President and Head of Business Area Markets at Vattenfall.
He succeeds Anna-Karin Stenberg, who will leave Vattenfall later this year. Martijn Hagens will start in his new role latest January 1, 2024.
Martijn Hagens has a long-standing career at Vattenfall, with 20 years’ experience in different management roles in the organization. Currently he is Senior Vice President and Head of Business Areas Customers & Solutions and Heat. He is also Managing Director of Vattenfall N.V. Netherlands.
Martijn Hagens will continue to report to Vattenfall’s CEO Anna Borg, be a member of the Executive Group Management team and he will remain Managing Director of Vattenfall N.V. Netherlands. The process for Martijn Hagens’ succession has started.
