CDWE selected Seatools for another project offshore Taiwan

Wind Energy – PPT for Hai Long

CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering (CDWE) from Taiwan contracted Seatools from the Netherlands for the design, engineering, installation, and commissioning of the metrology and hydraulic system of the Pre-Piling Template (PPT) for the Hai Long Offshore Wind Farm in Taiwan.

Following CDWE’s successful bid in November 2022 to transport and install foundations, turbines, and the offshore substations for the Hai Long offshore wind farm, Seatools has been selected to provide equipment for the installation of pin piles.

Seatools boasts an exceptional track record and unparalleled expertise in mission critical subsea metrology, controls, and subsea hydraulic systems. With successful completion of recent projects like Zhong Neng, Changfang & Xidao, and Greater Changhua, Seatools has established itself as one of the market leaders in subsea technology for pre-piling templates.

The WTG foundations will consist of pre-piled jacket-type structures, and Seatools’ equipment will be mounted on a pre-piling template to ensure the accurate placement of the piles within stringent tolerances.
