Wind Energy – Engineering Taiwan

Vestas announced its collaboration with Sinotech, one of Taiwan’s professional engineering consultancies.

Sinotech engineers will be working hand-in-hand with Vestas’ global engineering teams for a period of at least 18 months, focusing on the upper structure design of the world’s most powerful offshore wind turbine – V236-15MW.

This alliance aims to fortify Taiwan’s local wind power industry by imparting unique and specialized wind turbine design expertise. Vestas selected Sinotech for their excellent reputation, strong team and prior experience designing structures for offshore wind, ensuring alignment with the company’s rigorous standards.

This cooperation is the first of its kind for Vestas. The design skills, being paramount and niche, emphasize the essence of in-depth training and skill transfer. Vestas’ commitment, in this regard, is unmatched in any global market or region, reinforcing its dedication to innovation and quality.
