Karen de Lathouder Eneco’s new Chief Operating Officer Assets

General – Appointment Eneco

Eneco’s Supervisory Board has appointed Karen de Lathouder as Chief Operating Officer Assets (COO-A) and member of the Board of Management with effect from 1 November.

She is currently employed by BP as CEO Netherlands and previously as VP Refining Rotterdam.

Karen brings extensive international asset experience and competencies in the field of transformation and operational excellence.

Karen de Lathouder (1977) joined BP in 2017 where she held various roles. She is currently as CEO for BP’s Dutch branch responsible for the Dutch businesses. Previously, Karen worked for ORPIC, Akzo Nobel, and Shell in, among others, Denmark, Oman, Germany, and the UK.

Karen de Lathouder holds a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Delft and obtained her MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
