Cyan Renewables signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Merchant Heavy Industry (CMHI) in Shenzhen.
This brings the Singapore-based offshore wind vessel owner one step closer to its ambition of building new vessels with CMHI, one of the three largest shipyards in the world.
Keng Lin Lee, Group CEO of Cyan Renewables said: “I have had the privilege of knowing China Merchants Heavy Industry (CMHI) for a significant period of time. As one of the largest shipyards in the world, CMHI has a strong track record in building offshore wind vessels especially Wind Turbine Installation Vessels (WTIV).
