Wind Energy – WTI Vessel

Cyan Renewables signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Merchant Heavy Industry (CMHI) in Shenzhen.

This brings the Singapore-based offshore wind vessel owner one step closer to its ambition of building new vessels with CMHI, one of the three largest shipyards in the world.

Keng Lin Lee, Group CEO of Cyan Renewables said: “I have had the privilege of knowing China Merchants Heavy Industry (CMHI) for a significant period of time. As one of the largest shipyards in the world, CMHI has a strong track record in building offshore wind vessels especially Wind Turbine Installation Vessels (WTIV). This MoU opens up a new chapter for future partnerships and we are excited about the opportunities it will unlock for our clients and customers.”

Tiger, Deputy GM of China Merchants Industry Holdings said: “We are thrilled to embark on this partnership with Cyan Renewables and support them in their mission to facilitate the world’s transition towards a greener future. With an experienced and visionary management team at the helm, we are confident that CMHI and Cyan will chart a new course in maritime together.”
