Wind Energy – Floating Wind France
The first floating offshore wind turbine of the floating offshore wind pilot project Provence Grand Large is assembled!
A real technological feat, and a first in France!
The 3 floating offshore wind turbines will be installed off the Gulf of Fos, and will produce the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 45,000 inhabitants.
A real step forward for the sector and its development, in line with our objectives of carbon neutrality by 2050.
Provence Grand Large is a project funded with the support of L’Union Européenne (UE) and Région Sud – Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur with the Fonds européen de développement régional (FEDER), and ADEME as part of France 2030.
