General – Service and Maintenance

TenneT and Prysmian together with N-Sea have signed an initial three years’ service level agreement for service and maintenance of nearshore and offshore cable systems.

Under this agreement N-Sea in partnership with Prysmian will be responsible for inspection, maintenance and repair services of TenneT’s owned and operated HVDC and HVAC Grid Connection Systems in Germany and The Netherlands with a total circuit length of approx. 4000 km.

The services include all service, maintenance and possible repair works from landfall to the offshore platform including the intertidal section. As many assets run through nature conservatories, N-Sea will comply with strict Zero Discharge regulations.
