Fossil Energy – Well Plan

Guyana’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved ExxonMobil’s 35-well exploration and appraisal drilling plan for the Stabroek Block.

The Environmental Assessment Board has reviewed and declared the Environmental Impact Assessment of the Cumulative Effects related to this project as acceptable. The EPA says it is “satisfied that the project can be conducted in accordance with good environmental practices, and in a manner that avoids, prevents and minimizes any adverse effects which could result from the activity.”
