Nippon Salvage successfully installed inter-array cables at the Nyuzen wind farm in Japan using the Masakuni lay barge.
The Masakuni, equipped with an inter-array cable lay system designed and manufactured by Royal IHC, is the first of its kind in Japan.
The system includes a basket carousel, loading arm, lay tensioner, chutes, and quadrant deployment system, making it a remarkable feat of engineering.
