Wind Energy – South Fork WInd Farm USA
Last week Boskalis installed the first foundation at the South Fork Wind Farm off the US East Coast.
This Offshore Substation (OSS) foundation was transported and installed by the Bokalift 2.
The Bokalift 2 will proceed with the installation of the OSS module support frame and topside this summer, along with the 12 monopile foundations for wind turbine generators.
South Fork Wind is set to be the first US-commissioned offshore wind farm in US Federal waters.
