Wind Energy – Baltica 2 Turbines

Siemens Gamesa has secured a 1.5 GW contract with developers PGE Group and Ørsted to supply a total of 107 SG 14-222 DD turbines to the largest offshore wind project in the Baltic Sea, Baltica 2.

The project is expected to be operational in 2027 where it will provide electricity to more than 2.4 million homes in Poland while avoiding over 5.4 million tons of CO2 emissions per year.

The project marks a significant milestone for the offshore wind industry in Poland and will help strengthen our growing presence in both the country and along the Baltic coast.
