General – Fiberglass Pipes

Bondstrand glass-reinforced epoxy piping systems will reduce the total cost of ownership.

NOV has received an order from Cadeler to provide Bondstrand glass-reinforced epoxy (GRE) piping systems for its two X-class wind turbine installation vessels.

NOV’s Fiber Glass Systems plant in Qingdao, China, will manufacture about 1,300 m of Bondstrand 2000M and 2440 series piping systems in diameters ranging from 2 in. to 36 in. The lightweight and corrosion-resistant GRE piping will be used for the ballast, seawater and cooling water, water generator, and leg jetting systems. Deliveries for the first vessel are expected to be completed in March 2023.
