100 out of the 140 Siemens Gamesa 11.0-200 DD wind turbines have been installed at the 1.5 GW Hollandse Kust Zuid.
When fully completed later this year, the wind farm will become the world’s largest offshore wind farm in service.
The 11MW turbines have a rotor diameter of 200 meters and the area when turning in the wind is roughly the same size as four football pitches.
