DEME Offshore kicked-off the foundation installation works at Vattenfall’s Vesterhav Nord and Vesterhav Syd offshore wind farm in Denmark.
This is the first time a large scale offshore wind farm is installed from the Port of Thyboron.
And for many residents of Thyboron DEME’s installation vessel was a real attraction.
The port authority took the initiative to organise a special open quay day for the public where they could take a bus tour and see ‘Innovation’ and the monopiles up close.
