Wind Energy – Hywind Tampen

Siem Offshore has been awarded a contract extension of 7 months firm for the OSCV Siem Barracuda on the Hywind Tampen project for client Equinor.

The vessel has recently operated mainly within the offshore wind segment worldwide, and we are now very pleased to be a vital part of this exciting offshore floating wind project with operations in the North Sea.

The Hywind Tampen project is Norway’s first and the world’s largest floating wind farm. It is also the first wind farm in the world powering producing oil and gas installations.
