General – Interconnector
Cable Enterprise, one of Prysmian Group’s cable laying vessels, started the cable laying operations of the new submarine power interconnection between Ibiza and Formentera.
The contract for this assignment comes from Red Eléctrica.
This new interconnection will make it possible to cover 100% of the energy demand of the smallest of the Pityuses, facilitating the energy transition by reducing CO2 emissions.
