Wind Energy – Cable Installation Vessel
The second cable installation vessel Calypso for Van Oord has been launched on 17th October at Vard Tulcea.
In 2023 she will join the Nexus to install cables for the many offshore wind farms that will be built in the upcoming decade: energy transition in execution!
Vard Tulcea is making final preparations in the coming week before the hull will be towed to Vard Brattvaag.
Here Vard will continue outfitting the vessel, top side equipment installation, commissioning and trials.
