Odfjell Drilling signs an extension to an existing contract for semi-submersible drilling unit with Neptune Energy

It is agreed to extend the use of the drilling rig Deepsea Yantai to drill two further firm wells in Norway.

The scope of the work is estimated to take 60 days and is scheduled to commence in Q3 2023.

Deepsea Yantai is a GM4D harsh environment design and is Odfjell Drilling’s first rig of this design. The unit is designed for operations in harsh environments and at water depths of up to 1,200 m.
