Saturday, October 1 2022

Wind Energy – USA

Earlier this week at the Business Network for Offshore Wind’s Ports and Vessels Summit, Julian Fraize of the National Offshore Wind Research & Development Consortium moderated a panel titled ‘Feedering in the U.S. Offshore Wind Industry: Is It Inevitable?’

The panellists (as pictured from left to right) were Greg Dolan, Ports Manager at Avangrid Renewables, Carly Hagger, Installation Engineer at Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind LLC, Jan Klaassen, Business Unit Director at DEME Offshore USA, Michael Rampolla, Director of Operations at Crowley New Energy, and Michael J Saint James, Principal Consultant at Saint James Marine.

The panel gave a great overview of the challenges and opportunities associated with the Feedering Model, and addressed a number of engaging questions from the audience.
