Fossil Energy – Bruce Platform

Petrofac will continue to provide maintenance execution, consultancy, and metering services to the Bruce platform complex.

The oilfield services provider has received a three-year contract extension from Serica Energy for maintenance services in the North Sea.

The deal will see the company continuing to provide maintenance execution and consultancy services, as well as metering services, to Serica Energy’s Bruce platform complex that processes production from its Bruce, Keith, and Rhum assets.

These assets comprise more than 25 wells, three bridge-linked platforms, and extensive subsea pipelines and infrastructure which connect Rhum, Keith, and the Western Area of Bruce to the Bruce facilities.

The contract, which initially commenced in 2018, was extended in 2019 to include metering engineering services for deploying dedicated onshore and offshore personnel.
