General – Upgrade
Semisub Borgland Dolphin, which is currently smart stacked off Norway, will undergo an upgrade that will include an increase its accommodations.
The Enhanced Aker H3-design unit was extensively modified in 1999.
Dolphin Drilling confirms it is working on mobilisation and upgrade plans for the rig, noting it is ideally suited to the work on the UK Continental Shelf.
Borgland Dolphin is being marketed to UK customers and is expected to be available for work from Q1 2023.
