The Norwegian Offshore Wind Cluster reports that the concession process for Utsira Nord will be based on qualitative criteria.
The Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy Terje Aasland confirmed this in a meeting with industry representatives at Energy Valley yesterday.
This is an important step towards establishing a strong Norwegian supply chain for floating offshore wind.
