Wind Energy – O&M
PKN Orlen and Northland Power are seeking companies to deliver the operations and maintenance (O&M) base for the 1200MW Baltic Power offshore wind farm off Poland.
A tender has been launched to select a contractor on an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) basis.
The contractor’s work under the EPCI contract will cover execution of all elements of the O&M base, including reconstruction of the quay, execution of riverbed strengthening and required networks and infrastructure based on the applicable construction Law.
It will also include preparation of technical – construction and working – designs, performing necessary analysis required for the proper performance of the contract, obtaining permits, and integration of the O&M base with the ICT system of the wind farm.
The developers said the base will be a functional complex consisting of a social and office building, a warehouse, a trans-shipment quay adapted to handle three or four crew transport vessels, roads and manoeuvring places.
The base area will be connected to a public road, all necessary utilities including wireless connectivity will be provided, rainwater will be treated prior to discharge to the appropriate receiver, depending on the type of activity and place of discharge.
Interested parties have until 6pm local time on 22 March to apply.
