Monday, January 24 2022

General – renaming

Norside has acquired Blue Ship Invest’s PSV Farland and will convert it into a W2W vessel for the offshore wind industry.

The vessel currently has accommodation for 22 people on board and will accommodate 60 persons in total after the conversion.

A new accommodation module will be installed, in addition to a battery package, gangway, and cranes.

OSM Offshore Bergen/Vestland Offshore will manage the vessel, which will operate under the new name Norside Cetus. The vessel was originally built and delivered under the name Blue King in 2016.
