Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) has officially launched its latest multi-purpose vessels offshore wind farm service vessel, Manor Endurance.
Built in the Manor Marine shipyard on the south coast of the UK and delivered in July 2020, she has been fitted with an electric hybrid battery system, and quad IPS units. She is currently outfitted to provide seating for 12 personnel at 2-metre spacing and a further 8 separate cabins for social distancing during the pandemic.
The 26 metre vessel is a sister ship to Manor Venture and has been designed by Walker Marine Design. She offers a deck space of 140m2 and fuel capacity of over 30t, with 7 days offshore endurance.
MRE now operates four vessels, Manor Venture, Manor Initiative and Manor Enterprise and Manor Endurance. It supports offshore wind construction and operations and maintenance activities with services such as vessel provision and temporary power.
