Boskalis heeft een belang van 14,8% verworven in Fugro N.V. Boskalis beschouwt Fugro als een interessant bedrijf met activiteiten die uitstekend aansluiten op de eigen activiteiten. Boskalis wil graag in overleg treden met Fugro om mogelijke opties van samenwerking te verkennen. Boskalis benadrukt dat het geen intentie heeft tot het uitbrengen van een bod op Fugro. HM MOS International Limited (moedermaatschappij van Millennium Offshore Services Superholdings LLC) en Seafox Group (moedermaatschappij van Seafox Contractors en Workfox) kondigen aan de beide organisaties te combineren tot ’s werelds grootste dienstverlener in offshore werkeilanden, met een mondiaal bereik in Europa, het Midden-Oosten & Noord Afrika en Asia-Pacific. World’s first subsea wet-gas compressor one step closer to Gullfaks

Statoil says that the world’s first subsea wet-gas compressor station is now ready for the final testing at Horsøy outside Bergen, Norway, before being prepared for installation and hook-up to Gullfaks C in 2015. Starting back in 2008, the efforts to develop and qualify the compressor in line with Statoil’s requirements represent a good example of Statoil’s cooperation with the Norwegian supply industry to develop robust improved oil recovery solutions. 8-Point spread mooring system

Mooreast Asia has secured order to supply the entire 8-point spread mooring system to Offshore Terengganu oilfield in Malaysia. The mooring system consists of Mooreast designed chainstoppers, mooring chains and 15 ton Mooreast MA5P anchors. 12 PSVs in 18 months

Late October, Zhejiang Shipbuilding in Ningbo, China, delivered the ‘Sea Swift’, the final of twelve platform supply vessels of the large PX105 design to ship owner Deep Sea Supply. In addition to the basic design, Norway’s ULSTEIN has delivered a comprehensive package of systems and equipment as well as on-site support. The Zhejiang yard, a part of the Sinopacific Group, delivered all the Deep Sea Supply vessels during 2013 and 2014. The twelve vessels are constructed for operations all over the world. Royal IHC secures order for dredging package

Royal IHC has secured a new contract with the Chinese shipyard, Jin Hai Heavy Industrial Group, for the delivery of a dredging installation package for a trailing suction hopper dredger. The package contains major parts of the dredging installation for the 7,000m³ hopper dredger. The agreement was signed by the two companies and the owner of the vessel, Shen Zhen Dachan Island Co.
